2000 A.D. WEEKLY - PROG 39, 41, 42, 43 DATELINE: 19th NOVEMBER -17th DECEMBER 1977

This was a weekly British science fiction orientated comic, each issue known as a "prog". Most noted for its futuristic lawman Judge Dredd, it was contributed to by a number of renowned writers and artists in this field. Other noted characters to feature alongside The Judge were Rogue Trooper, Strontium Dog and the ABC Warriors, and also Tharg The Mighty - the Editor himself - a Green Extra-terrestrial! He used Robots to draw & write the strips, who bore a resemblance to the creators themselves! 2000 A.D. was a successful launchpad for introducing British Talent into the larger American Comic Market. Many more "progs" available! Nice copies.
