Creating an Account
You can access our website without disclosing any personal information, but if you would like to make a purchase,
register your wants or subscribe to our mailing list we will need to have some details.
These include your name, your postal address, your e-mail address etc. depending on which service you request.
You have the option to change and modify information previously provided by logging in through our home page and then accessing account administration.
Making A Purchase
Making a purchase is very straight forward. Just browse our Categories, and click on any items that you wish to buy and add them to the shopping basket.
After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked to log in and to confirm a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
Payment can be made on the website, by phone or by post.
Our terms are payment at the time of order. All our prices are in British Pounds (Sterling).
We do not retain credit card information online or offline so returning customers will need to provide their payment information when making a new order.
If you are shopping from a country other than the UK or in a currency other than Sterling,
place your order and your credit card company will automatically convert the transaction to your local currency at their standard exchange rate.
All the books on this site can be purchased online. You can order safely with a credit or debit card using our shopping basket and Paypal Payments, a PayPal account is not necessary for this.
If you prefer to place your order by telephone you can do so using your Mastercard, UK Maestro, Visa Card, Electron, Discover, Diners Club International and JCB.

We also accept cheques in British pounds drawn on a British bank account and Sterling International Money orders.
If sending a cheque or money order please email or telephone first so that we able reserve the item/s for you.
The Item/s will be reserved for seven days, unless other arrangements have been made.
Postage & Packaging and Delivery Times
Postage & packing costs are extra and are based on the order destination, value and weight. See Delivery Information (click here) for the current amounts.
We always try to dispatch your order within 24 hours; orders received on a Friday or Weekend are usually posted the following Monday.
We recommend higher value items are sent by Royal Mail Special Delivery at extra cost when necessary.
Any extra charges e.g. heavy and bulky items or special deliveries, would be notified and require confirmation before being applied.
We confirm despatch of your order by email and provide estimates of delivery times.
We would appreciate it if you let us know when the parcel arrives, as we are always happy to know your order has been delivered safely.
All information supplied to us by our customers is treated as totally confidential and is never passed on to any other parties.
If you request us to remove your details from our database we will do so without question.
We provide users the following options for removing their information from our database and to not receive any future communications from our service.

Our site uses an order form for customers to request information, products, and services.
We request visitor's contact information (name, address, and email address) and financial information (payment information to make purchases).
Contact information from the order form is used to ship orders to customers. The customer's contact information is used to contact them when necessary.
Financial information that is collected is used to bill the customer for products and services. Financial information is not stored or recorded after use.
The web site has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
We use 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your financial information if you choose to order online.
We only use your data to communicate with you and to help us to provide you with our best customer service.
This includes confirmation of order despatch if you purchase from us and notification of books of interest to you if you sign up to our mailing list or register your wants with us.
If your data is no longer necessary for the above-mentioned purposes, it will be deleted and therefore be no longer available for further use.
We do our best to make sure that all of our books are described accurately. However if on receipt of your order you find an item is not as described,
you can return it within 7 days of delivery.
We will offer a refund on receipt of the returned item in its dispatched condition. Any items to be returned must be packed with due care, to the same standard as they were shipped,

If you are cancelling an order under your statutory rights (e.g. because the goods are faulty or wrongly described) then we will pay postage costs.
If you are cancelling an order not under your statutory rights then we will not refund postage costs.
